SAI-SAC are fishing their final competition of the year on Youghal Beach this Saturday 22/11/08. Havnt been out in nearly a month, so decided on a spur of the moment job. Only fished a couple of hours, results were nothing exciting, we had 3 bites between us which resulted in 3 fish. The largest being 3lb 10oz.
Batteries in the camera were dead so photos didnt come out. how does barometric pressure affect shore angling, I know lows can bring about more surf and highs more settled weather but is there more to it than that 
An easy way to catch catfish in the spring is on a setline and every year about this time I start to get the itch. I don't know exactly what causes it. No I don't mean a physical itch. It's something that triggers a sensation inside my inner most being.

Most people fish to catch fish of size, and keep track of how big their biggest fish has been. I do that too, but I also keep track of how many different types of fish I catch.
