people:Me / Santy and the boogie man
time: cant remember i was enjoying myself too much.
tide :none you dummy its a loch
weather:fabulous
bait: 3lb sea scorpions, sea trout strips, feathers
methods:nets , dynamite, hooks, anything
results : nine spinned gurnard, large ray or skate thing, goldfish, 100lb conger, tonnes of seatrout
(or where they salmon)
Report: after hearing so much about this angling mecca i decided to give it a go and i wasnt disappointed, stuck on some feathers and immediately caught three specimen seatrout, threw them back of course bar one which was deep hooked as he engulfed the feather. chopped him up for bait and got my nine spinned gurnard, over the moon as i havent got one of them yet. got a few 3lb sea scorpions and decided as they were so small to stick one on as a livebait, 100lb conger took him but i lost him in the surf damn...!!! whacked another one out and rod bent double, after an almighty battle i got a large skate ray thingy it must be a record

. my arms were killing me and a porbeagle showed up with the stranford loch ness monster and the fishing died off so decided to call it a day happy enough

. will defo give it another go. santy and the boogie man blanked..

P.S. the author has a sense of humour and no offence is meant to anyone, the actual session may not have happened and santy and the boogie man may or may not have been there, this post is only banter no negative replies.
weather looking good and wanting the first outing of 09 decided today was going to be the day headed about 10 high water at 12ish quiet for the first hour then pout after pout next into a few pollack and a red gurnard a lot of poor cod a doggie and a lot of very undersize codling next up was an octupus and ballan and cuckoo wrasse with lots of good sized whiting , not a bad start to 09
